On 16 August 2026, families on the Indonesian island of Flores were struggling after a powerful earthquake struck the day before. Homes had collapsed, roads were damaged, and many people were sleeping outdoors while rescue teams were searching under the rubble. According to NOS, 68 people had died and around 13,000 had been displaced.

At Arwah, we wanted to help the families out. When someone bought one of our Arwah books using the code GIVE10, we donated 10% of the purchase price to help people affected by the earthquake. Thanks to everyone who bought a book, we were able to make this donation together

The Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) taught, "Allah (swt) is at the back of a servant so long as the servant is at the back of his brother" (Sahih Muslim 2699a).
